The City of Nampa is seeking a qualified applicant to fill an upcoming vacant position on the board of commissioners for the Nampa Development Corporation (NDC). The NDC was established in 2006 to oversee the development of multiple public and public/private projects within the downtown area and within the Nampa Industrial area. The NDC Board of Commissioners guides Nampa’s urban renewal projects and is comprised of five members, including two Nampa Council members and three members at-large.

Applicants must be a resident of Canyon County.
The final candidates will be interviewed the week of August 3 and an appointment will be made for council vote August 17. The board position is a five-year term and application for reappointment is available for consideration after the term expires in 09/2025. NDC meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 8:00 a.m. in council chambers at Nampa City Hall. Board members do not receive compensation for service.
