Nampa Parks & Recreation to open outdoor pools Saturday

Pools Open 2020

Nampa Parks and Recreation will be opening the city’s outdoor pools, Lincoln Pool and Lakeview Water Park on Saturday, June 6, 2020.

Over the past few weeks, the Nampa Parks and Recreation Department has taken a thoughtful approach to planning and implementing new processes to keep our community and employees safe. The most notable change to the swimming pool operations will be that patrons will need to make online reservations in advance of visiting the pools by signing up at To allow for adequate physical distancing, a limited number of people will be allowed to swim during three predetermined two-hour time slots: 12:30-2:30 p.m., 2:45-4:45 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. Locker room use will be limited, and patrons are encouraged to come ready to swim and leave the same way. The cost remains $1.25 for children under 5, $2.50 for ages 6-17 and $3.75 for those 18 or older.

“Our goal is to provide recreational services that will add enjoyment and quality of life opportunities for Nampa families this coming summer. With efforts to minimize the potential spread of the coronavirus, our department will implement several modifications to our typical operations process,” said Darrin Johnson, Nampa Parks and Recreation Director.

Lakeview Water Park is located on 7th Street North inside Lakeview Park. As a family-oriented facility, Lakeview Water Park features a zero-depth entry beach perfect for small children. You can slide down the large water slide or play in the splash pad, located on the swimming pool deck. Click here to make online reservation

Lincoln Pool is located in Lions Park along Davis Avenue. Enjoy swimming in a facility that features both shallow and deep water. Visitors will have fun using the diving board or running through our large splash pad and water deck toys. Click here to make online reservation
