As the State of Idaho prepares to enter Stage 2 of the Idaho Rebounds plan on Saturday, May 16, City of Nampa departments will be reopening at various dates to the public.
The City of Nampa will continue to assist customers remotely through online services or via phone. While not required, we encourage residents visiting our facilities to wear face coverings. For the health and safety of our staff and the entire community, the City asks customers to only visit our facilities if they are healthy; if customers are feeling sick (experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath), are awaiting COVID-19 test results or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive or awaiting test results, please allow us to assist you remotely.
All locations within the City of Nampa are adhering to physical distancing guidelines of six feet between people outside of their household and, therefore, capacity within buildings will be reduced. Visitors are asked to use the floor markings for distancing reference if waiting in line. The City of Nampa has installed or is in the process of installing “sneeze guards” for departments which provide public assistance.

NAMPA CITY HALL | 411 3rd Street South
Many of the external public facing departments within the Nampa City Hall have moved to the newly finished Nampa Development Services Center. The Clerk’s office remains at Nampa City Hall but is now located on the west side of the building when entering through the lobby. The Clerk’s office will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. but is not accepting passport applications at this time due to limitations from the federal government. For more information on passports, visit the US Department of State website. If fingerprinting is needed for any licensing applications, please contact the Idaho State Police. The Nampa Police Department plans to resume fingerprinting services June 7, 2020.UTILITY BILLING | 401 3rd Street South
Nampa’s utility billing will be available to serve customers in person during regular hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Mon., May 18, 2020. Customers are still asked to make payments using currently touchless options: online, over the phone (208-468-5711), through the mail or at our drop box located in our parking lot near 4th Street. Customers can also email questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. During this stressful time, the City of Nampa has not turned off any customers due to non-payment but is asking customers to establish a repayment schedule. Thanks to funding from Republic Services and local residents who contribute, the Nampa Shares & Cares program is also available to help customers who need utility billing assistance and meet income limits.
NAMPA DEVELOPMENT SERVICES CENTER | 500 12th Avenue South
The Nampa Development Services Center will open to the public when their “sneeze guards” are in place beginning Tues., May 26, 2020.
