Community Members Sought to Serve on Nampa Golf Course Commission


The City of Nampa is seeking applications from Nampa residents to fill two (2) openings on the Nampa Golf Course Commission.

Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling said, “We greatly appreciate and respect the voice of volunteers representing our community through the City of Nampa’s boards and commissions. Residents who choose to serve in this capacity play a critical role to help shape our community and provide guidance to leadership on decisions needed.”

Residents interested in serving the community through this volunteer position are asked to follow the steps below and apply by Fri., December 27, 2019:

  • Visit to learn more about current openings and additional information on board or commission.
  • Download the board and commission application form (download at 
  • Submit completed application form with letter of interest and any additional information requested to or mail form to Clerk’s Office (411 3rd St. S., Nampa ID 83651) – must be received by December 27.
Selected members are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the Nampa City Council. Appointed members must reside within the City of Nampa. Residents with general questions about the appointment process are encouraged to contact Chief of Staff Clay Long ( or 208-468-5401).
