Nampa Board of Appraisers seek new member


The City of Nampa’s Board of Appraisers is seeking a new member and invites residents interested to apply.

The board is comprised of three (3) City of Nampa staff, as well as three (3) citizens at large who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Nampa City Council. Citizens serve on a rotational basis with staggered four year terms. The Board of Appraisers recommend all water, sewer and irrigation rates, charges and/or fees, conduct hearings, and hear appeals from Nampa utility customers. The board decisions must be presente­­d to Council for approval.

Currently one citizen at large position is available. The applicant must live within Nampa city limits as well as receive water, sewer and irrigation services. The board typically meets quarterly.

Those interested in volunteering on the committee are encouraged to submit a cover letter explaining interest and resume to the attention of Tom Points, P.E., Public Works Director, City of Nampa Public Works Department.
