The Nampa City Council will vote on the proposed capital improvement plan and impact fees March 4, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Nampa City Hall, located at 411 3rd St. S. in Nampa.
The Nampa City Council held a public hearing on the proposed changes Tues., January 22. The action item was previously estimated to be brought before council February 4, however additional time is needed to revise the ordinance before council vote.
“Impact fees allow new growth to pay its share of the capital infrastructure needed to continue the current level of service, without being subsidized by existing taxpayers. Fees are paid by new development projects as a condition of permit approval to support capital infrastructure needed to serve the proposed development,” shared Anne Wescott of Galena Consulting.
