The city of Nampa will close Burke Lane from 12th Ave Road (Highway 45) to just east of Lake Ridge Elementary School beginning Tuesday, Feb. 27 to install a new water main and fire hydrants. The road will be closed to traffic until April. Local access to residents will be provided from the east and west ends of the project.
The Nampa Highway District is also replacing a culvert under Burke Lane as part of the project so the road will not have to be torn up a second time.
Cougar Excavation, LLC is the contractor. This project is one of several water improvement projects scheduled for construction in 2018. The city will spend roughly $500,000 improving the city’s water system this year.
