Who should apply?
A student in Nampa (ages 8-18) who is passionate about Nampa and comfortable speaking in front of a crowd.
How to Apply:
Email a letter addressed to Mayor Kling with the following information:
Deadline: Please email email@example.com your letter demonstrating interest by Friday, February 22, 2019. Students selected for a video interview will be contacted.
Mayor Kling will select the emcee from video interviews coordinated by the Columbia High School broadcasting students. Clips from the interviews may be shown at the State of the City event and students under 18 must have parent permission for a photography release.
The selected emcee will work with Mayor Kling and her staff to coordinate the script for the event (don't worry - you won't have to do it all yourself)!

Immediately following the State of the City address (approximately 5 p.m.), the Nampa School District Culinary Arts Program will be providing mouth-watering finger foods and desserts to guests. The costs are only $5 to help cover the food costs and benefits the program.
