The City of Nampa is seeking qualified applicants to fill three (3) vacant positions on the Venue Management Advisory Commission, formerly known as the Idaho Center Advisory Commission. The Venue Management Advisory Board of Commissioners advises the Mayor and City Council in directing and managing the affairs of the Ford Idaho Center and the Nampa Civic Center to include the potential benefits, or drawbacks, of the formation of any future auditorium districts to be established or proposed within the city limits of the City of Nampa. The Commission is comprised of eight (8) commissioners who are appointed for five (5) year rotating terms.
The mission of the Venue Management Advisory Commission is to maximize the benefit of the Ford Idaho Center and the Nampa Civic Center to the people and community of Nampa by assuring long term viability, enlarging economic impact and promoting tourism and travel to the Nampa area.
