Mayor Debbie Kling invites the community to Nampa’s State of the City on Tues., April 17, 2018 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Columbia High School. In her first official State of the City as Nampa’s newly elected mayor, Kling will celebrate with the theme “We Are Nampa.” There is no cost to attend the address, but seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Immediately following the address, the community is invited to a reception with appetizers prepared by the Nampa School District culinary arts program students from 5-6:00 p.m. as well as light entertainment by the NNU Jazz Band. The reception cost will be $5 and pre-registration is needed for planning purposes. Online reception registration will be available this week or reservations may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mayor Kling is excited to host the State of the City at Columbia High School and said, “We need not forget that every decision we make today will impact the next generation. That said, the State of the City is about our entire community, including our local school districts, the business community, and every individual and family that lives in Nampa.”
