Traffic detoured as city of Nampa builds irrigation pipeline project

Nampa Irrigation Pipeline Project - Locust Lane

The city of Nampa is constructing a new pressure irrigation pipeline along Locust Lane and Happy Valley Road. Both roads will be closed so motorists should plan to use alternate routes for about two months. Local residents will continue to have access to their property.

The project will create a looped irrigation system that improves pressure in the area while providing additional capacity for future economic growth. The looped system will also increase water flow to the Nampa Fire Department for use during emergency situations and fire suppression.

Construction will cost $475,000 and is anticipated to be complete by early July. The contractor is Milestone Construction. A map of the project area is attached to this release.
