City seeks input on Five-Year Consolidated Plan

house with family icon

The city of Nampa is in the process of updating its Five-year Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development needs. This is a requirement of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the city to receive block grant funds. In the past, these funds have been used for: neighborhood revitalization and code enforcement, accessibility improvements, affordable housing development, economic development and job creation, needed home repairs for low income homeowners and operations of social service agencies.

You are invited to attend a community meeting and open house where the consultant will present preliminary data and maps analyzed for the study and to collect resident and stakeholder input on housing and community development needs. This will occur on Monday, April 24, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., in City Council Chambers, 411 3rd St. S.

Finally, please help the City of Nampa prioritize its housing and community development needs by completing a study to determine how to invest housing and neighborhood funds during the next 5 years. The links are below and your responses will be confidential and only used for the housing and neighborhood planning study.
