The city of Nampa invites the public to participate in an open house concerning planned improvements for the intersection of Midland Boulevard & Roosevelt Avenue. Increased traffic in the area has caused safety and efficiency concerns that will be addressed with a signal.

The city of Nampa will also present information regarding two pedestrian activated signals planned for the Wilson Pathway at its crossings with Midland Boulevard and Lake Lowell Avenue. These projects will improve safety for pathway users.

The open house will be held on Tuesday, April 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at West Middle School, 28 S. Midland Boulevard. The public is invited to drop by anytime to view planned improvements, ask questions and provide comments.

At the open house, the project team will present initial designs, construction details and the project schedule. Public comment will be considered during the final design process.
General information about other city of Nampa roadway projects in the area will also be available.

Questions regarding this project may be directed to Jeff Barnes at barnesj@cityofnampa.us or 468-5521.
