Applications are being sought for the “Liberty and Justice for All” themed Exchange Club Parade America slated for Saturday, May 21, in Nampa.
The 50th annual patriotic parade draws thousands of spectators and includes floats, horses, marching bands, antique cars, and much more.
Register at www.cityofnampa.us/parade to review rules and guidelines along with a map of the parade route. For questions beyond registration, contact Brittany Sullenger at 468-5401. The deadline to register is May 16.
The parade begins at 11 a.m. at the corner of 12th Avenue Road and Lake Lowell Avenue near Nampa High School and follows a route on 12th Avenue Road to 7th Street South, to 16th Avenue South, ending near Northwest Nazarene University campus at Holly Street and East Colorado. This parade is free for participants and spectators alike.
The Exchange Club Parade America started in 1966 and is one of the oldest, continuous parades in the area.
