The Nampa Civic Center seeks volunteers to provide an active ambassador program based on outreach for various events. This is a program to replace the Civic Center auxiliary group that voted last month to disband when duties were prioritized.

A new group called Friends of the Center will focus its effort on the following areas:
1. Provide and organize people of good and positive character to be ambassadors of Civic Center events.
2. Be active in outreach for the Center into the community, businesses, clubs, schools and other similar organizations.
3. Be supportive of the Center’s civic goals as outlined by the director.
4. As volunteers, help be information hosts, greeters or ushers as needed at various events.
5. Help raise funds under the Civic Center’s Foundation for the Arts and the Humanities Council.

Ambassadors in this program would not be required to pay dues.

Call 208-468-5565 or 468-4438 for more information.
