The Nampa City Clerk’s Office now accepts applications for passports on a limited, appointment-only, basis at Nampa City Hall.

Nampa City Clerk Debbie Bishop said the Clerk’s Office can accept applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. At this time, the Clerk’s Office will accept passport applications by appointment only, between 1 and 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

To make an appointment in Nampa, please call 465-9490 or send an email to passports@cityofnampa.us. For more information on the service the Nampa Clerk’s Office can provide, visit cityofnampa.us/passports.

For now, the time is limited, Bishop said, because the service is being provided without additional staffing.

The Canyon County Clerk’s Office in Caldwell also accepts applications Monday through Friday during regular business hours. For more information, visit http://www.canyonco.org/Passports.

“Like Canyon County, the Nampa Clerk’s Office is not a passport issuing agency and does not take passport photos,” Bishop said. “We only accept applications.”

For application forms, necessary documentation, fees and a wealth of information on passports and international travel, visit travel.state.gov.

Forms will also be available at Nampa City Hall during regular business hours.
