Nampa Entrepreneur Organized (NEO) is a group made up of entrepreneurs, those aspiring to become an entrepreneur, or business owners wanting to take their business to the next step.

NEO began through a partnership between the City of Nampa Economic Development Department and the SBDC Business Accelerator - Nampa (previously known as the BSU TECenter). The goal was to energize new and want-to-be entrepreneurs who want a place to network and develop skills. The group quickly expanded to include key stakeholders and resource providers from the Treasure Valley to assist Nampa Entrepreneurs.

The group aspires to engage entrepreneurs to learn and grow by offering valuable resources in the form of networking and educational events, mentoring programs, technical assistance, resources and marketing.

Special events/gatherings and educational opportunities will be held several times throughout the year.

Membership

Being a member of the Nampa Entrepreneur's group is FREE. The only thing we ask is that you have fun, meet new people, share ideas, and become inspired. If you are interested in becoming a member of NEO, there is no application, just show up for one of our networking events.

Mentors (we refer to them as Victory Coaches)

Becoming a mentor is a great opportunity to share your stories of how mentoring has been meaningful to you and helpful to you professionally. The benefits to a mentor in a mentoring relationship are often overlooked. The mentoring relationship is a two-way street with the flow of support, respect, and information equally shared between the mentor and the mentee. The benefits of being a mentor can have have a long-lasting impact as the mentor continues his or her own professional journey.mentors to volunteer to serve in the mentoring program. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, or being a guest speaker at one of the NEO events, you can email us and we will get you all set up.

Benefits of having a Mentor

Unseasoned business owners need assistance from others who have an intimate knowledge of how business works. Many small business owners try to get that information from business books and classes. While these can be helpful on their own, they are more helpful alongside business mentoring. In a business mentoring relationship, a seasoned business owner meets with a new or potential business owner one-on-one to give advice and boost morale.
